LETTER TO MY GIRLFRIEND
(Clash of love)
Season 2
Episode 27
A Story Written by Bright Daniel
Nath came in and saw everybody looking curious. His father grabbed his car key in a hurry without looking at any of them. Agatha’s mind relaxed first when she saw Nath then began to wonder where her father was going to.
“What is going on?” Nath asked looking at his father who walked towards the door.
“Daddy, who called you?” Agatha added.
“Randy, where are you going to?” Mrs Mary also asked yet, Mr Randy didn’t say anything but when he met Nath at the door he said, “I have to attend to someone now” he went out.
Agatha gently went to Nath, she held his hand and walked towards the cushion with him. She also sat with him looking very scared. She had never experienced such thing in her life; a dream almost coming to pass.
“Good day, mother” Nath greeted his mother who sat down at that time without responding. Nath had a clue of her tranquility.
“What am i hearing, Nath?” Mary began. “Is it true you impregnated two women at the same time?”
“Mother, you won’t understand”
“Why won’t i understand?! Okay, make me to understand” the mother sat up angrily. Agatha looked and listened to both of them but her mind wasn’t there. She could feel something very bad coming on the way but couldn’t put a finger on it.
“Mother, it was a mistake” Nath explained.
“What sort of stupid mistake is that? Two women and you are here talking about mistake! What has come over you? Ehn!”
Nath was getting upset, he stood up and began to walk into his room but was interrupted by his phone. He brought it out and read a text message from his father: AGATHA’S MOTHER IS DEAD BY ACCIDENT.
Mary was still shouting while Nath stared at Agatha who noticed his optimism and asked, “Nath, is everything okay?”
Nath walked to her and held her shoulder having a slight heavy breath. At that time Mrs Mary kept quiet seeing such pet and closeness between both of them.
“What is it, Nath?” Agatha was still inquisitive.
“I’m sorry..” Nath said then Agatha stood up sharply.
“Sorry? For what?”
“Your mother is dead”
“You are joking, right?”
“Ehn? You mean Rita?” Mrs Mary stood up too.
“Yes, she had an accident” Nath concluded then Agatha shouted in a loud voice and fell on the floor…

Joyce drove straight to Cynthia’s resident. She wore a blue handless gown and footwears having a Brazilian hair which she slid backward occasionally. She stopped at the two stairs that led to the main entrance of the house.
Just then, Cynthia gently came out with her hands folded.
“What are you doing here?”
“I’m not here for a fight”
“I don’t care why you are here, just leave” Cynthia moved closer.
“Nath loves you, okay? I know you have reasons to break up with him but you should know he can’t do without you. He’s not going to marry me but you because of how much he loves you. Please, stop making him shed tears and forgive him. It’s all my fault. That’s why i came” Joyce concluded and turned back immediately to her car without Cynthia saying any other thing. She turned again and said, “Please, take good care of him” she drove off.

Brano tried to become a changed person. He did away everything bad he had been harboring inside his apartment. He swept outside the compound and sat in the middle of it thinking about his life. He wore only a singlet and a jean trouser. His beards were shaved in a fashionable manner looking neat and touchable. He brought out a packet of cigarette to smoke but remembered Agatha. “Mehn..” he murmured looking at the cigarette. “I made a promise and i seriously need to do away with this if i want Agatha” he thought and threw away the cigarette to a distant where he could still see it. He stared at it for a moment but couldn’t let it go, then he stood up to pick it. He got there and came back without picking it. “God! What a punishment!” he murmured robbing his head vigorously. He stood up for the second time to pick it but came back again. He went back for the last time and picked it up. “I’m sorry, Agatha” he said and brought out one to smoke. Just as he wanted to light it, his phone rang. So he threw the Cigarette again when he saw the caller to be Agatha.
“Hollo, Brano” Nath sounded on the phone instead of Agatha.
“Nath?”
“Yes, i think Agatha needs your presence now”
“Where is she? What happened?”
“She has lost her mother”
“Oh mine! I’m coming immediately”
“Alright, bro” the line went off.

Rita had been buried. Now it was reconciliation and reunion time for both Mr Randy and Mary, and Cynthia and Nath. Nath received a text message from Cynthia as he laid on his bed then stood up instantly and grabbed his car key. He met Agatha in the sittingroom and said, “I’m coming”
“You don’t need to tell me, go for her” Agatha replied with smiles then Nath understood that she must have spoken with Cynthia.

At the resident of Mr Morgan, Cynthia waited for Nath outside. When Nath entered, she ran and hugged him..
